NSDAP REICH HEADQUARTERS
To avoid the danger for the Party – and also for the German people – which must arise from the continuation of the war, the Führer and Reich Chancellor recently demanded that the English people should enforce a cessation of hostilities.
It is now apparent that the success of this step, which was confidently expected by the Reich headquarters of the NSDAP has not materialised. Neither the people, nor the Government, nor any particular circles or individuals in England can be influenced in Germany’s favour. The threat of military action as well as the very costly air operations against England have also been without effect.
The Reich headquarters of the NSDAP is compelled to state that the methods of National Socialist diplomacy are now generally known and that no success can be expected from their further application.
A fundamental change of National Socialist policy, such as one envisaging the withdrawal of German troops from the territories occupied since 1938, can lead only to considerable danger to the NSDAP. The Reich headquarters of the NSDAP therefore has no further resort but to expect that all members of the public (Volksgenossen) shall make all necessary sacrifices for the sake of the Party, which bears the responsibility for this war.
In particular the Reich headquarters is compelled to announce that enemy air activity over Germany will take on enormously increased proportions –
ALL DONE BY THE PARTY!
ALL DONE FOR THE PARTY!
(Well known National Socialist slogan, “Alles durch die Partei, alles für die Partei)
