WHAT DOES ROOSEVELT'S VICTORY MEAN?
On November 15th, 1940 Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected President of the United States of America.
Who is this man, the first man in American history to have the honour of being called three times running to the highest office in the free-ist Republic in the world?
ROOSEVELT has devoted many speeches to pillorying the dictators, exposing their real aims and castigating their methods.
ROOSEVELT has brought it about that from the beginning of the war – and to a far greater extent since the collapse of France – the resources of America have been at the disposal of Great Britain.
ROOSEVELT has the entire American people behind him in his determination to fight the Dictators. While the election campaign was in progress Wendell Willkie, the Republican candidate, raised only one objection to the foreign policy of his opponent, Roosevelt: that Great Britain was still not getting enough help. After the election Willkie promised his unreserved support for all measures increasing help for Britain. Great Britain is now getting one half of the entire American war production.
The re-election of President Roosevelt means:
130 MILLION IN THE USA UNITED AGAINST HITLER!
WITH US THE YOUNG PEOPLES
